Facilities Assistant
Location: London
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday
We are seeking a proactive Facilities Assistant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a blend of mechanical and electrical knowledge, strong customer service skills, and a focus on maintaining a safe and functional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, answer calls, and provide assistance in a courteous and professional manner.
- Liaise with the landlord and site contact, reporting any issues or concerns.
- Maintain building security, safety standards, and supervise contractors.
- Perform daily building walkthroughs, meeting room checks, and ensure all tasks are documented.
- Coordinate conference room bookings, setups, and breakdowns.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections (e.g., fire extinguishers, first aid kits, etc.).
- Manage stationery supplies and asset receiving.
- Sort and deliver incoming and outgoing mail, including special deliveries.
- Ensure the workplace remains safe, clean, and tidy.
- Perform other facilities-related tasks as needed.
