Search are supporting the recruitment of a Finance Assistant for our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working. If you are an experienced Finance Assistant looking to join a supportive and collaborative team with a clear route of progression and development, you would be encouraged to apply.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Process large volumes of financial transactions, including invoices and expenses.
* Manage credit control activities.
* Perform bank and account reconciliations.
* Prepare and file VAT returns, including month-end reconciliations.
* Assist managers with various client-related tasks.
* Set up and maintain online accounting software.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Handle filing and document management tasks.

Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
* Experience working within transactional finance.
* Proficiency in using financial software and systems.
* Numerate with an attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with ability to engage internal & external stakeholders
* A proactive approach to managing multiple financial tasks and deadlines.
