About Us:
We are a trusted supplier specializing in high-quality fire protection materials and services. We are currently seeking skilled Fire Stoppers and Fire Door Joiners to join our team and supply services to contractors working on care home projects across Cornwall. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly rewarding sector, ensuring the safety of care homes and their residents.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Fire Stoppers:
o Provide fire stopping services to contractors working on care homes, ensuring all penetrations in walls, floors, and ceilings are properly sealed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
o Supply fire protection solutions that meet all safety regulations and relevant building codes.
o Offer expert advice and support on fire stopping techniques and solutions.
o Ensure products are delivered and installed in a timely and compliant manner.
* Fire Door Joiners:
o Supply and install high-quality fire-rated doors and associated hardware for care home projects.
o Ensure all fire doors are fitted in line with current legislation and are fully operational to prevent fire and smoke spread.
o Provide technical advice and support to contractors regarding fire door installations and compliance.
o Maintain accurate records of installations and inspections as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in fire stopping or fire door joinery.
* Relevant qualifications, certifications, or training in fire protection, such as fire door installation or fire stopping (CSCS, FISS, FIRAS, or similar).
* Ability to work independently or alongside contractors on site.
* Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).
