We are working with an impressive Scottish manufacturing company who are looking to grow their team. They are a busy FMCG manufacturer looking to expand their site due to growth.

Role:

• All aspects of people management of the Production Management Team and Production Operatives.
• Manage the Production team including disciplinaries and grievances
• Manage the shelf life of packed product liaising with relevant departments to ensure effective use of stock in line with customer requirements
• Ensure that Production procedures and Health & Safety rules are adhered to
• Commit to achieve defined objectives via a Personal Development Review
• Manage and mould a team that can achieve and maintain, all Production KPI's
• Ensure that Company standards, procedures and policies are adhered to within the Production team.
• Identify and develop potential within the team, and work closely with all staff to ensure the correct training and support is given
• Manage and monitor all Production outputs and work ensuring all departments are working efficiently and in line with Company policies and procedures
• Foster a constructive relationship with all departments and ensure lines of communication are open

The Candidate:

• Strong production management experience within a FMCG environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of production processes
• Strong team management skills
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and CI.
