Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join a reputable Civil Engineering Contractor in Dumfries.

This role offers a fully hybrid model allowing for 3/4 days home based with occasional office and site visits.

What you'll be doing:

• The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including performing risk, value management and cost control.
• Working on a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, you will also be responsible for managing costs from inception to completion to minimise cost and maximising value for money.
• Liaison with Site Managers to collate information on day to day remits
• Working with the Estimating team to price new work

What you will need to be successful:

• The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, with at least an HNC in Quantity Surveying.
• At least 3+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role
• Ideally Civil Engineering experience
