About this role
Search is currently seeking Social Workers to work with a range of our clients across the Greater Manchester Area. We are looking for both qualified and non-qualified social workers to support our growing caseload and provide outstanding care and support to vulnerable individuals.
As a Social Worker, you will be working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services to individuals and families. The role involves working with children, families, and adults, assessing needs, and ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate support in line with their care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's needs and develop tailored care plans.
- Provide ongoing support to clients and their families, ensuring their well being is maintained.
- Collaborate with professionals across different sectors to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Work closely with other social work professionals, providing guidance and support where necessary.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services within the region.
Requirements:
For Qualified Social Workers:
- A relevant social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England.
- Previous experience in social work, ideally within the community, child protection, or family support services.
- Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
For Non-Qualified Social Workers:
- A strong desire to pursue a career in social work with experience in a related field (e.g. care, youth work, or community services).
- Level 3 Qualification in Health & Social Care
- A commitment to learning and development in a professional social work capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
